It’s always been a personal goal of mine to create my own internet community/website/business. After graduating high school, I discovered on Pinterest that blogging exists and that several girls my age were making money from blogging. I loved writing and Pinterest, so here I am with my own blog all about college.
I started taking it seriously in 2020 by learning SEO, Pinterest and other social media platform strategies, monetization, and graphic design.
I’ve been on Pinterest since its waiting list days in 2014. Moved on from managing One Direction group boards to now developing a Pinterest strategy for both my accounts.
My personal Pinterest account peaked at 2 million monthly views in May 2020.
summer pinterest peak! sunday, may 3 the highest day ever!
Meanwhile…
Within only 2 months, I was able to grow my college blog’s Pinterest account to 98.19k monthly impressions. This was with all original content and consistent pinning!

Now, I’m a SEO Nerd
I’ve always heard about SEO, but I never knew what it was. But after starting this website as a blog back in 2019, I started to understand it. With my second blog, I took a blogging class to understand what SEO is and fell in love with it.
I love the details in creating content, especially for Google SEO. Long tail keywords are the best thing I found out about since Cordoba Guitars. So after updating one of my old blog posts, I suddenly ranked #1 on Google and is still on the first page.
Now not only am I working on a Pinterest strategy but also an SEO strategy for my blog.
